Records Schedule

Three buckets - one marked Administrative, one marked Mission, and one marked Policy
  • The Records Schedule describes the Agency's records, establishes a period for their retention (temporary and permanent), and provides instructions for what to do with them when they are no longer needed for current government business.

  • PBGC's records schedule is a flexible or "Big-Bucket" schedule. It is "functional" rather than "departmental", and is broken down into three main areas:
    • Administrative
    • Mission
    • Policy
